Local residents have often approached us to ask if we can use a sewing machine that they have but don't want. We accept the donation but have enough machines for our Stitch project. Lots have been passed on to people who have wanted a machine but over the years we have amassed nearly a dozen machines which have now been passed over to Days For Girls UK. They will be safety checked and serviced, then some will be used for a UK sewing club and others will be sent to a developing country. We also sent 16 complete kits
